The Abbey Inn’s exclusive use private dining room is situated overlooking the historic ruins of Byland Abbey in North Yorkshire.
It can accommodate up to 14 guests for celebrations and special occasions or it’s simply just a cosy space to catch up with friends and family.

Created by Michelin-starred Chef Director Tommy Banks and the team, our a la carte menu features outstanding ingredients from the nearby family farm and garden, as well as our trusted network of local, independent suppliers.

The private dining room is available to book for a maximum of 14 guests, for lunch on a Monday, Friday and Saturday from 12noon, or for dinner at 6.00pm on a Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If you’re looking to book for a large party on a Sunday you can book a table for up to 12 guests within our main dining room, The Piggery, online.

Book a table at The Abbey Inn, a country pub from Michelin-starred chef Tommy Banks in the heart of the North York Moors. Serving proper pub classics with an Oldstead twist alongside local hand-pulled ales and seasonal cocktails.
Please include any children or infants when selecting the number of guests in your party.

Stay overnight and dine at The Abbey Inn, sampling our proper pub classics. You will be able to make a table reservation during the room booking process. Breakfast is served at our sister restaurant, The Black Swan (1 mile away).
Please note that The Abbey Inn is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
